Brainstorm Web Design LLC, in Chandler, AZ.
2004-2009

My son had been born during my time at Intel and my wife was working less to stay home with him, but she went back to full time and I assumed the 'at-home parent' role, during the potty-training/toddler years, which was an amazing and rewarding experience.
I decided that what I did next needed to allow me to be at home more than my engineering career had allowed, and so I decided to do free-lance software development work, mainly on website and related technologies. So I started a Limited-Liability Company called Brainstorm Web Design, LLC and worked from home on a number of programming projects for various customers.
My business progressed through 3 general phases...

- Small projects for local customers
- Database-driven website development for agencies
- Subcontract work for a larger marketing firm
