Camera integration and testing:
Once we ordered prototype circuit boards for the main logic board, the power supply board, and the light sensor board and all the components, I soldered all the parts to the boards and built the physical reference design camera.

Then, I worked with a software/firmware engineer to load test software into the camera to test and debug problems with the camera, feeding back issues to the chip design team, so they could produce different versions which addressed problems we found.
